MFPL, in line with their MISSION and QUALITY POLICY Statements , has decided to strengthen it's "Research and Development (R&D)" Department to develop new castings of different grades for varieties of Applications wit h the existing and new customers who look forward for their need. The scope of the Department shall include :
- Identification of new application.
- Evaluation of chemical composition in line with the national and international standards.
- Working closely wit h the engineers of the customer organization to develop samples and prototypes.
- Use of in house and ext ernal testing infrastructure to authenticate the design parameters and other mechanical properties needed for the application.
- Value engineering on the existing product to improve on weight, speed of supplies and other quality improvement activities.
The team is being headed by a Metallurgist.
